अथान्यद्धनुरादाय स राजा क्रोधमूर्छितः ।
वासविं नवभिर्बाणैर्बाह्वोरुरसि चार्पयत् ॥४०॥

40. athānyaddhanurādāya sa rājā krodhamūrchitaḥ ,
vāsaviṁ navabhirbāṇairbāhvorurasi cārpayat.

40. Then that king, overcome with rage, taking another bow, pierced Arjuna (Vāsavi) in his two arms and chest with nine arrows.
