महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-67, verse-55

अयुध्यमानाय हि सा केशवाय नराधिप ।
क्षिप्ता श्रुतायुधेनाथ तस्मात्तमवधीद्गदा ॥५५॥
55. ayudhyamānāya hi sā keśavāya narādhipa ,
kṣiptā śrutāyudhenātha tasmāttamavadhīdgadā.

55. O king, indeed, that mace (gadā) was thrown by Śrutāyudha at Keśava (Krishna) who was not fighting. Therefore, it killed him.
