महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-67, verse-42

अश्वांश्चास्यावधीत्तूर्णं सारथिं च महारथः ।
विव्याध चैनं सप्तत्या नाराचानां महाबलः ॥४२॥
42. aśvāṁścāsyāvadhīttūrṇaṁ sārathiṁ ca mahārathaḥ ,
vivyādha cainaṁ saptatyā nārācānāṁ mahābalaḥ.
42. aśvān ca asya avadhīt tūrṇam sārathim ca mahā-rathaḥ
vivyādha ca enam saptatyā nārācānām mahā-balaḥ
42. mahā-rathaḥ mahā-balaḥ asya aśvān ca sārathim ca
tūrṇam avadhīt ca enam saptatyā nārācānām vivyādha
42. The great warrior, the mighty Arjuna, swiftly killed his (opponent's) horses and charioteer, and pierced him with seventy iron arrows.
