किरन्निषुगणांस्तीक्ष्णान्स्वरश्मीनिव भास्करः ।
तापयामास तत्सैन्यं देहं व्याधिगणो यथा ॥२॥

2. kiranniṣugaṇāṁstīkṣṇānsvaraśmīniva bhāskaraḥ ,

Scattering sharp multitudes of arrows, just as the sun scatters its own rays, he tormented that army, similar to how a host of diseases afflicts the body.
