महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-61, verse-56

अश्विनौ श्रवणौ नित्यं देवी जिह्वा सरस्वती ।
वेदाः संस्कारनिष्ठा हि त्वयीदं जगदाश्रितम् ॥५६॥
56. aśvinau śravaṇau nityaṁ devī jihvā sarasvatī ,
vedāḥ saṁskāraniṣṭhā hi tvayīdaṁ jagadāśritam.

56. The Aśvins are always the ears, and the goddess Sarasvatī is the tongue. Indeed, the Vedas, which are established in sacred rites (saṃskāra), and this entire world are dependent on you.
