महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-61, verse-22

तथा मया चाप्यसकृद्वार्यमाणो न गृह्णसि ।
वाक्यं हितं च पथ्यं च मर्त्यः पथ्यमिवौषधम् ।
पुत्राणां मतमास्थाय जितान्मन्यसि पाण्डवान् ॥२२॥
22. tathā mayā cāpyasakṛdvāryamāṇo na gṛhṇasi ,
vākyaṁ hitaṁ ca pathyaṁ ca martyaḥ pathyamivauṣadham ,
putrāṇāṁ matamāsthāya jitānmanyasi pāṇḍavān.
22. tathā mayā ca api asakṛt vāryamāṇaḥ na
gṛhṇasi vākyam hitam ca pathyam ca
martyaḥ pathyam iva auṣadham putrāṇām
matam āsthāya jitān manyasi pāṇḍavān
22. tathā mayā ca asakṛt vāryamāṇaḥ api
(tvam) hitam ca pathyam ca vākyam martyaḥ
pathyam auṣadham iva na gṛhṇasi putrāṇām

22. In the same way, though repeatedly advised by me, you do not accept these words, which are both beneficial and wholesome, just as a sick person might reject beneficial medicine. By adopting the view of your sons, you consider the Pāṇḍavas to be conquered.
