महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-61, verse-20

तस्य पापस्य सततं क्रियमाणस्य कर्मणः ।
संप्राप्तं सुमहद्घोरं फलं किंपाकसंनिभम् ।
स तद्भुङ्क्ष्व महाराज सपुत्रः ससुहृज्जनः ॥२०॥
20. tasya pāpasya satataṁ kriyamāṇasya karmaṇaḥ ,
saṁprāptaṁ sumahadghoraṁ phalaṁ kiṁpākasaṁnibham ,
sa tadbhuṅkṣva mahārāja saputraḥ sasuhṛjjanaḥ.

karmaṇaḥ samprāptam sumahat ghoram
phalam kiṃpākasaṃnibham sa tat bhuṅkṣva

20. The exceedingly great and dreadful fruit, resembling a kimpāka, of that continually committed sinful action (karma) has now been obtained. Therefore, O great king, you must consume it, along with your sons and friends.
