महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-275, verse-59

अयोध्यां स समासाद्य पुरीं राष्ट्रपतिस्ततः ।
भरताय हनूमन्तं दूतं प्रस्थापयत्तदा ॥५९॥
59. ayodhyāṁ sa samāsādya purīṁ rāṣṭrapatistataḥ ,
bharatāya hanūmantaṁ dūtaṁ prasthāpayattadā.

59. Upon reaching the city of Ayodhyā, he, the protector of the kingdom, then dispatched Hanumān as a messenger to Bharata.
