महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-275, verse-11

मामासाद्य पतिं भद्रे न त्वं राक्षसवेश्मनि ।
जरां व्रजेथा इति मे निहतोऽसौ निशाचरः ॥११॥
11. māmāsādya patiṁ bhadre na tvaṁ rākṣasaveśmani ,
jarāṁ vrajethā iti me nihato'sau niśācaraḥ.
11. mām āsādya patim bhadre na tvam rākṣasaveśmani
jarām vrajethāḥ iti me nihataḥ asau niśācaraḥ
11. O gentle one, it is not fitting that you, having me as your husband, should grow old in a demon's abode. Therefore, that night-prowler has been slain by me.
