tamuvāca pitā bhūyaḥ prahṛṣṭo manujādhipa ,
gacchāyodhyāṁ praśādhi tvaṁ rāma raktāntalocana.

Mārkaṇḍeya said: "O king of men, his father, greatly pleased, again said to him, 'O Rāma, whose eyes have red corners, go to Ayodhyā and rule there.'"
