Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: When the delusion of identifying with a physical body (piṇḍa-graha-bhrama) has subsided, and the mind (citta) has attained its nature as pure consciousness (cittamātra), becoming freed from the burden of forced suppression, then attachment (āsthā) to the world (jagat) completely ceases.
