संकल्परूपजगतः क्रमात्सापि विलीयते ।
वासना तस्य तेनाशु स निर्वाति विवासनः ॥ ५९ ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: As the world, which is merely a form of volitional thought (saṅkalpa), gradually dissolves, so too do the latent impressions (vāsanā) of that person disappear. Therefore, being free from latent impressions, he quickly attains ultimate peace (nirvāṇa).
