पुनः कृतं पुनस्त्रेता पुनः स द्वापरः कलिः ।
पुनरावर्तते सर्वं चक्रावर्ततया जगत् ॥ ५३ ॥

53. The Kṛta Yuga returns, then again the Tretā Yuga, and again that Dvāpara Yuga, and the Kali Yuga. The entire world (jagat) revolves repeatedly, like the turning of a wheel.
