महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-55, verse-6

तैरस्तमुच्चावचमायुधौघमेकः प्रचिच्छेद किरीटमाली ।
क्षुरार्धचन्द्रैर्निशितैश्च बाणैः शिरांसि तेषां बहुधा च बाहून् ॥६॥

kṣurārdhacandrairniśitaiśca bāṇaiḥ; śirāṁsi teṣāṁ bahudhā ca bāhūn.

6. The one adorned with a diadem (kirīṭa) single-handedly cut down the diverse barrage of weapons thrown by them. With sharp, crescent-shaped, razor-edged arrows, he repeatedly severed their heads and arms.
