पञ्च चाश्वसहस्राणि रथानां शतमेव च ।
हत्वा प्रास्यन्दयद्भीमो नदीं शोणितकर्दमाम् ॥३८॥

38. Having killed five thousand horses and one hundred chariots as well, Bhima caused a river, thick with blood-mud, to flow forth.
