महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-55, verse-49

वर्म भित्त्वा तु सौवर्णं बाणास्तस्य महात्मनः ।
न्यमज्जन्त महाराज कङ्कबर्हिणवाससः ॥४९॥
49. varma bhittvā tu sauvarṇaṁ bāṇāstasya mahātmanaḥ ,
nyamajjanta mahārāja kaṅkabarhiṇavāsasaḥ.

49. But, O great king (Maharaja), having pierced the golden armor of that great-souled one, his arrows, adorned with feathers of kites and peacocks, sank deeply into his body.
