raṇe savyasācī bāṇān ādadat na eva saṃdadhat na api muñcan adṛśyata; (kintu janāḥ) hatān saṃsyūtadehān nāgān ca turagān ca padātīn ca rathān ca dadṛśuḥ.

In battle, Savyasachin (Arjuna) was not seen taking, nor aiming, nor releasing arrows. Yet, they saw elephants, horses, and foot-soldiers, whose bodies were pierced through, lying dead, and chariots as well.
