महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-12, verse-62

ततोऽर्जुनेषूनिषुभिर्निरस्य द्रौणिः शरैरर्जुनवासुदेवौ ।
प्रच्छादयित्व दिवि चन्द्रसूर्यौ ननाद सोऽम्भोद इवातपान्ते ॥६२॥
62. tato'rjuneṣūniṣubhirnirasya; drauṇiḥ śarairarjunavāsudevau ,
pracchādayitva divi candrasūryau; nanāda so'mbhoda ivātapānte.
62. tataḥ arjuneṣūn iṣubhiḥ nirasya
drauṇiḥ śaraiḥ arjunavāsudevau
pracchādayitvā divi candrasūryau
nanāda saḥ ambhodaḥ iva ātapānte
62. tataḥ drauṇiḥ iṣubhiḥ arjuneṣūn nirasya,
śaraiḥ arjunavāsudevau,
divi candrasūryau pracchādayitvā,
ambhodaḥ iva ātapānte saḥ nanāda.
62. Then, Ashvatthama (Drauṇi) first scattered Arjuna's arrows with his own arrows, and just like a cloud covering the sun and moon in the sky at the end of the hot season, he roared, covering both Arjuna and Krishna (Vāsudeva) with his shafts.
