अथ संशप्तकांस्त्यक्त्वा पाण्डवो द्रौणिमभ्ययात् ।

47. Then, the son of Pandu (Arjuna), having abandoned the Samsaptakas, proceeded towards Droni (Ashvatthama), just as a donor might abandon a deserving petitioner, treating them as if they were unworthy.
