महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-12, verse-24

निर्वेष्टुं भर्तृपिण्डं हि कालोऽयमुपजीविनाम् ।
सूक्ष्मो विवादो विप्राणां स्थूलौ क्षात्रौ जयाजयौ ॥२४॥
24. nirveṣṭuṁ bhartṛpiṇḍaṁ hi kālo'yamupajīvinām ,
sūkṣmo vivādo viprāṇāṁ sthūlau kṣātrau jayājayau.
24. nirveṣṭum bhartṛpiṇḍam hi kālaḥ ayam upajīvinām
sūkṣmaḥ vivādaḥ viprāṇām sthūlau kṣātrau jayājayau

24. Indeed, this is the time for those who depend on others to repay their master's sustenance. For Brahmins (viprāḥ), debates are subtle; for warriors, victory and defeat are stark (and consequential).
