ततोऽविध्यद्भ्रुवोर्मध्ये नाराचेनार्जुनो भृशम् ।

sa tena vibabhau drauṇirūrdhvaraśmiryathā raviḥ.

50. tataḥ arjunaḥ nārācena bhruvoḥ madhye bhṛśam avidhyat
saḥ tena drauṇiḥ ūrdhvaraśmiḥ raviḥ yathā vibabhau

50. Then Arjuna fiercely pierced Ashvatthama between his eyebrows with an iron arrow. Struck by it, Drauṇi shone like the sun with its rays directed upwards.
