महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-12, verse-31

कर्णाभ्यां शिरसोऽङ्गेभ्यो लोमवर्त्मभ्य एव च ।
रथध्वजेभ्यश्च शरा निष्पेतुर्ब्रह्मवादिनः ॥३१॥
31. karṇābhyāṁ śiraso'ṅgebhyo lomavartmabhya eva ca ,
rathadhvajebhyaśca śarā niṣpeturbrahmavādinaḥ.
31. karṇābhyām śirasaḥ aṅgebhyaḥ lomavartmabhyaḥ eva ca
rathadhvajebhyaḥ ca śarāḥ niṣpetuḥ brahmavādinaḥ

31. And, O reciter of sacred texts (brahmavādin), arrows indeed flew out from the ears, from the head, from the limbs, from the hair-follicles, and from the chariot banners.
