महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-73, verse-12

ततः शतसहस्राणि रथिनां सर्वशः प्रभो ।
छादयानं शरैर्घोरैस्तमेकमनुवव्रिरे ॥१२॥
12. tataḥ śatasahasrāṇi rathināṁ sarvaśaḥ prabho ,
chādayānaṁ śarairghoraistamekamanuvavrire.

12. Then, O Lord, hundreds of thousands of charioteers from all directions surrounded him (Arjuna), who was alone and covering (the battlefield) with dreadful arrows.
