महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-48, verse-66

तथैव पाण्डवं युद्धे देवैरपि दुरासदम् ।
न विजेतुं रणे भीष्म उत्सहेत धनुर्धरम् ॥६६॥
66. tathaiva pāṇḍavaṁ yuddhe devairapi durāsadam ,
na vijetuṁ raṇe bhīṣma utsaheta dhanurdharam.
66. tathā eva pāṇḍavam yuddhe devaiḥ api durāsadam
na vijetum raṇe bhīṣmaḥ utsaheta dhanurdharam
66. tathā eva bhīṣmaḥ dhanurdharam pāṇḍavam yuddhe

66. Similarly, Bhishma himself would not dare to conquer the Pandava (Arjuna), the archer, in battle, for Arjuna is difficult to approach or overcome even by the gods.
