महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-48, verse-15

पाञ्चालान्निहनिष्यन्ति रक्षिता दृढधन्वना ।
सोऽहं भीष्मं गमिष्यामि सैन्यहेतोर्जनार्दन ॥१५॥
15. pāñcālānnihaniṣyanti rakṣitā dṛḍhadhanvanā ,
so'haṁ bhīṣmaṁ gamiṣyāmi sainyahetorjanārdana.

saḥ aham bhīṣmam gamiṣyāmi sainyahetoḥ janārdana
15. dṛḍhadhanvanā rakṣitāḥ pāñcālān nihaniṣyanti
janārdana saḥ aham sainyahetoḥ bhīṣmam gamiṣyāmi
15. Protected by the strong-bowman, they will destroy the Pāñcālas. Therefore, O Janārdana, I will go to Bhīṣma for the sake of the army.
