महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-157, verse-68

सेन्द्राशनिरिवेन्द्रेण विसृष्टा वातरंहसा ।
हत्वा रक्षः क्षितिं प्राप्य कृत्येव निपपात ह ॥६८॥
68. sendrāśanirivendreṇa visṛṣṭā vātaraṁhasā ,
hatvā rakṣaḥ kṣitiṁ prāpya kṛtyeva nipapāta ha.
68. sa-indra-aśaniḥ iva indreṇa visṛṣṭā vāta-raṃhasā
hatvā rakṣaḥ kṣitiṃ prāpya kṛtyā iva nipapāta ha
68. After the Rākṣasa (demon) had been slain, he (Hidimba), like Indra's thunderbolt, and like a magical demoness (kṛtyā) hurled by Indra with the speed of wind, fell down upon the earth.
