महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-157, verse-25

ततः क्षिप्तमिवात्मानं द्रौपद्या स परंतपः ।
नामृष्यत महाबाहुः प्रहारमिव सद्गवः ॥२५॥
25. tataḥ kṣiptamivātmānaṁ draupadyā sa paraṁtapaḥ ,
nāmṛṣyata mahābāhuḥ prahāramiva sadgavaḥ.
25. tataḥ kṣiptam iva ātmānam draupadyā sa parantapaḥ
na amṛṣyata mahābāhuḥ prahāram iva sadgavaḥ
25. Then, that mighty-armed tormentor of foes could not tolerate it, feeling as if his very being (ātman) had been thrown (reproached) by Draupadī, just as a powerful bull would not endure a blow.
