महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-157, verse-54

एकेन बहवः संख्ये मानुषेण पराजिताः ।
प्राप्य वैश्रवणावासं किं वक्ष्यथ धनेश्वरम् ॥५४॥
54. ekena bahavaḥ saṁkhye mānuṣeṇa parājitāḥ ,
prāpya vaiśravaṇāvāsaṁ kiṁ vakṣyatha dhaneśvaram.

54. "Many of you have been defeated in battle by a single human. When you reach the dwelling of Vaiśravaṇa, what will you say to the lord of wealth?"
