महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-157, verse-44

अन्तरिक्षचराणां च भूमिष्ठानां च गर्जताम् ।
शरैर्विव्याध गात्राणि राक्षसानां महाबलः ॥४४॥
44. antarikṣacarāṇāṁ ca bhūmiṣṭhānāṁ ca garjatām ,
śarairvivyādha gātrāṇi rākṣasānāṁ mahābalaḥ.

44. The mighty one pierced the limbs of the roaring rākṣasas, both those moving in the sky and those standing on the ground, with arrows.
