महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-157, verse-43

ततः प्रववृते युद्धं तेषां तस्य च भारत ।
तैः प्रयुक्तान्महाकायैः शक्तिशूलपरश्वधान् ।
भल्लैर्भीमः प्रचिच्छेद भीमवेगतरैस्ततः ॥४३॥
43. tataḥ pravavṛte yuddhaṁ teṣāṁ tasya ca bhārata ,
taiḥ prayuktānmahākāyaiḥ śaktiśūlaparaśvadhān ,
bhallairbhīmaḥ praciccheda bhīmavegataraistataḥ.

43. Then, O Bhārata, a battle began between them and that Pāṇḍava. Thereupon, Bhīma, with his exceedingly swift arrows, cut down the spears, lances, and axes hurled by those great-bodied (Yakṣas and Rākṣasas) beings.
