महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-8, verse-61

प्रेक्षतस्त्वेव पार्थस्य वृष्ण्यन्धकवरस्त्रियः ।
जग्मुरादाय ते म्लेच्छाः समन्ताज्जनमेजय ॥६१॥
61. prekṣatastveva pārthasya vṛṣṇyandhakavarastriyaḥ ,
jagmurādāya te mlecchāḥ samantājjanamejaya.
61. prekṣataḥ tu eva pārthasya vṛṣṇyandhakavarastriyaḥ
jagmuḥ ādāya te mlecchāḥ samantāt janamejaya
61. janamejaya tu eva pārthasya prekṣataḥ te mlecchāḥ
samantāt vṛṣṇyandhakavarastriyaḥ ādāya jagmuḥ
61. But, O Janamejaya, while Pārtha (Arjuna) merely watched, those barbarians (mleccha) from all sides seized and carried away the most excellent women of the Vṛṣṇis and Andhakas.
