महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-8, verse-29

स तान्दृष्ट्वा निपतितान्कदने भृशदुःखितः ।
बभूवातीव कौरव्यः प्राप्तकालं चकार च ॥२९॥
29. sa tāndṛṣṭvā nipatitānkadane bhṛśaduḥkhitaḥ ,
babhūvātīva kauravyaḥ prāptakālaṁ cakāra ca.
29. saḥ tān dṛṣṭvā nipatitān kadane bhṛśaduḥkhitaḥ
babhūva atīva kauravyaḥ prāptakālam cakāra ca
29. saḥ kauravyaḥ tān kadane nipatitān dṛṣṭvā atīva

29. Having seen them fallen in the slaughter, that descendant of Kuru (Arjuna) became exceedingly and deeply distressed, and he then performed what was appropriate for the occasion.
