चकार सज्यं कृच्छ्रेण संभ्रमे तुमुले सति ।
चिन्तयामास चास्त्राणि न च सस्मार तान्यपि ॥५३॥

53. cakāra sajyaṁ kṛcchreṇa saṁbhrame tumule sati ,
cintayāmāsa cāstrāṇi na ca sasmāra tānyapi.

53. He strung it with great difficulty amidst the tumultuous confusion. And he contemplated the divine missiles (astrāṇi), but he could not even recall them.
