वाचाकोमलया सुकोकिलशिशुः कल्याणकल्पां कथां सर्वावर्जनमार्जवेन कुरुते यावत्पुरो रागिणाम् ।
तावन्मत्तनयोऽयमित्यविरतं द्रांकारभीमारवैर्ध्वांक्षेणोपवने निपत्य नभसः सर्वे कृता नीरसाः ॥ ७६ ॥

76. While a lovely young cuckoo, with its gentle voice and the captivating sincerity that charms all, recounts a delightful tale before those in love, at that very moment, a crow descends from the sky into the garden, crying incessantly with dreadful and terrifying caws, "This one is my son!" and thereby makes everyone utterly joyless.
