श्रीमद्वृत्तमहाशयातपहरप्रोच्चैर्गभीराकृते भूभृन्मूर्धसु भूषणं भवसि भो भूमे रसैकास्पदम् ।
एतत्तु क्षपयेन्मनांसि यदिदं मेघ त्वया वर्षता हर्षादूषरपल्वलस्थलतरुष्वम्भोविभागक्रमः ॥ ५० ॥

50. bho bhūme śrīmat-vṛtta-mahāśaya-ātapa-hara-proccaiḥ-gabhīra-ākṛte! bhū-bhṛt-mūrdhasu bhūṣaṇaṃ rasa-eka-āspadam bhavasi.
tu bho megha! etat yat idam tvayā varṣatā harṣāt ūṣara-palvala-sthala-taruṣu ambhaḥ-vibhāga-kramaḥ,
manāṃsi kṣapayet.
50. O Earth, endowed with glory, of noble character, dispelling distress, of profoundly majestic and towering form! You are indeed an ornament on the peaks of mountains, the singular abode of all essences (rasa). However, O Cloud, this act of yours—this sequence of joyfully distributing water to trees located in barren ponds and dry lands, even while you are raining—this indeed vexes people's minds.
