योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-116, verse-39

उन्निद्रकन्दलदलान्तरलीयमानकूजन्मदान्धमधुपोन्मदपामराणाम् ।
मन्ये न सा भवति तुष्टिरिहामराणां या गोकुलेषु गिरिगह्वरिणां नराणाम् ॥ ३९ ॥

39. I do not believe that the gods (amarāṇām) here experience the same satisfaction (tuṣṭiḥ) that is attained by the people (narāṇām) in the cowherd settlements (gokuleṣu) and mountain caves – those rustic individuals (pāmara) who are intoxicated by the humming, maddened bees concealed within the petals of blooming Kandala flowers.

39. במקום שבו הכפריים נהנים מזמזום הדבורים השיכורות מצוף המסתתרות בעלי הצמחייה הפתוחים, נדמה לי שאפילו לאלים בשמיים אין נחת ושביעות רצון כפי שיש לבני האדם השוכנים ביישובי הרועים ובמערות ההרים.
