योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-116, verse-62

लिङ्गस्योर्ध्वं रटत्काक आत्मानं दर्शयत्ययम् ।
सर्वाधःपातकोत्तुङ्गगतं पश्यत मामिति ॥ ६२ ॥
liṅgasyordhvaṃ raṭatkāka ātmānaṃ darśayatyayam ,
sarvādhaḥpātakottuṅgagataṃ paśyata māmiti 62
62. liṅgasya ūrdhvam raṭat kākaḥ ātmānam darśayati
ayam sarvādhaḥpātaka uttuṅgatam paśyata māma iti
62. ayam raṭat kākaḥ liṅgasya ūrdhvam ātmānam darśayati.
iti (vadati): he janāḥ! sarvādhaḥpātaka uttuṅgatam mām paśyata.
62. This cawing crow, high above the liṅga (phallic symbol), displays its (ātman) self, saying: 'Behold me! I am one who has ascended to a great height despite being guilty of all the most grievous sins!'
