प्रह्लाद उवाच ।
आत्मा सर्वपदातीतश्चिरात्संस्मृतिमागतः ।
दिष्ट्या लब्धोऽसि भगवन्नमस्तेस्तु महात्मने ॥ १ ॥

दिष्ट्या लब्धोऽसि भगवन्नमस्तेस्तु महात्मने ॥ १ ॥
prahlāda uvāca ,
ātmā sarvapadātītaścirātsaṃsmṛtimāgataḥ ,
diṣṭyā labdho'si bhagavannamastestu mahātmane 1

Prahlāda said: "The self (ātman) transcends all states and, after a long time, has come into my recollection. Fortunately, O Lord, you have been attained. Salutations to you, O Great Soul (mahātman)!"
