योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-14, verse-56

यच्चिच्चित्त्वेन कचनं स्वसंपाद्याभिधात्मकम् ।
स्वविकारैर्व्यवच्छेद्यं भिद्यते नो न विद्यते ॥ ५६ ॥
yacciccittvena kacanaṃ svasaṃpādyābhidhātmakam ,
svavikārairvyavacchedyaṃ bhidyate no na vidyate 56
56. yat cit cittvena kacanam svasaṃpādyābhidhātmakam
svavikāraiḥ vyavachhedyam bhidyate na u na vidyate

56. That consciousness (cit) which shines forth by its very nature as consciousness, whose designation is self-established, and which appears delimited by its own modifications, is neither truly divided nor does it (as a distinct entity) truly exist.
