बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-81, verse-56

अन्तर्निमग्नवंशास्थि पृष्ठं स्यान्मांसलं शुभम् ।
सशिरं रोमयुक्तं वा वक्रं चाऽशुभदायकम् ॥५६॥
56. antarnimagnavaṃśāsthi pṛṣṭhaṃ syānmāṃsalaṃ śubham .
saśiraṃ romayuktaṃ vā vakraṃ cā'śubhadāyakam.
56. antarnimagnavaṃśāsthi pṛṣṭham syāt māṃsalam śubham
saśiram romayuktam vā vakram ca aśubhadāyakam
56. A back whose spinal bone is deeply set and which is fleshy is considered auspicious. Conversely, a back that is protuberant, hairy, or crooked brings inauspicious results.
