बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-81, verse-15

प्रदेशिनी भवेद्यस्या अंगुष्ठाद्व्यतिरेकिणी ।
कन्यैव दूषिता सा स्यात् कुलटा च तदग्रतः ॥१५॥
15. pradeśinī bhavedyasyā aṃguṣṭhādvyatirekiṇī .
kanyaiva dūṣitā sā syāt kulaṭā ca tadagrataḥ.
15. pradeśinī bhavet yasyā aṅguṣṭhāt vyatirekiṇī
kanyā eva dūṣitā sā syāt kulaṭā ca tat agrataḥ
15. If a girl's index finger is disproportionately long compared to her thumb, she is considered defiled; and subsequently, she becomes an unchaste woman (kulaṭā).
