बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-81, verse-10

भवेद्ध्रस्वाभिरल्पायुर्विषमाभिश्च कुट्टनी ।
चिपटाभिर्भवेद्दासी विरलाभश्च निर्धना ॥१०॥
10. bhaveddhrasvābhiralpāyurviṣamābhiśca kuṭṭanī .
cipaṭābhirbhaveddāsī viralābhaśca nirdhanā.
10. bhavet hrasvābhiḥ alpāyuḥ viṣamābhiḥ ca kuṭṭanī
cipaṭābhiḥ bhavet dāsī viralābhiḥ ca nirdhanā
10. A woman becomes short-lived if her [fingers or toes are] short. She becomes a procuress if they are uneven. She becomes a servant if they are flat. And she will be poor if they are widely spaced.
