A woman whose palm bears a line shaped like a balance (tulākṛti) is certainly a merchant's wife. Alternatively, if marks resembling an elephant, a horse, or a bull appear on the left hand of a deer-eyed woman (mṛgīdṛś), she too is destined for prosperity.
