बहुधा भव्ता प्रोक्तं जन्मकालात् शुभाशुभम् ।
श्रोतुमिच्छामि नारोणामङ्गचिह्नैः फल मुने ॥१॥

O sage (muni), you have already explained the auspicious and inauspicious results from the time of birth in many ways. Now, I wish to hear about the results for women based on their bodily marks (aṅgacihna).
