मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-69, verse-69

ऋषिरुवाच ।
तां जहाराद्रितनयो बलाको नाम राक्षसः ।
द्रक्ष्यसे चाद्य तां भूप उत्पलावतके वने ॥६९॥
69. ṛṣiruvāca .
tāṃ jahārādritanayo balāko nāma rākṣasaḥ .
drakṣyase cādya tāṃ bhūpa utpalāvatake vane.
69. ṛṣiḥ uvāca tām jahāra adritanayaḥ balākaḥ nāma
rākṣasaḥ drakṣyase ca adya tām bhūpa utpalāvatake vane
69. The sage said: 'A demon (rāṣkasa) named Balāka, the son of the mountain, abducted her. O King (bhūpa), you will see her today in the Utpalāvataka forest.'
