क्रौष्टुकिरुवाच ।
विस्तरात्कथितं ब्रह्मन्मम स्वारोचिषं त्वया ।
मन्वन्तरं तथैवाष्टौ ये पृष्टा निधयो मया ॥१॥

vistarātkathitaṃ brahmanmama svārociṣaṃ tvayā .
manvantaraṃ tathaivāṣṭau ye pṛṣṭā nidhayo mayā.

Krauṣṭuki said: "O Brahman, you have extensively narrated to me the Svārociṣa `manvantara` (manvantara) and also the eight `nidhayaḥ` (treasures) about which I had inquired."
