मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-69, verse-48

अवतीर्य च तत्रासौ प्रविश्य ददृशे मुनिम् ।
कौश्यां बृष्यां समासीनं ज्वलन्तमिव तेजसा ॥४८॥
48. avatīrya ca tatrāsau praviśya dadṛśe munim .
kauśyāṃ bṛṣyāṃ samāsīnaṃ jvalantamiva tejasā.

kauśyām vṛṣyām samāsīnam jvalantam iva tejasā
48. Having dismounted there, he (the king) entered and saw a sage seated on a kuśa grass mat, appearing as if blazing with spiritual energy.
