मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-69, verse-4

धर्मात्मा च महात्मा च पराक्रमधनो नृपः ।
अतीत्य सर्वभूतानि बभौ भानुपराक्रमः ॥४॥
4. dharmātmā ca mahātmā ca parākramadhano nṛpaḥ .
atītya sarvabhūtāni babhau bhānuparākramaḥ.
4. dharmātmā ca mahātmā ca parākrama-dhanaḥ nṛpaḥ
atītya sarva-bhūtāni babhau bhānu-parākramaḥ
4. That king possessed a righteous (dharma) nature and a great soul (ātman), his true wealth being valor. Surpassing all other beings, he shone with the prowess of the sun.
