मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-69, verse-49

स दृष्ट्वा नृपतिं प्राप्य समुत्थाय त्वरान्वितः ।
सम्मान्य स्वागतेनैव शिष्यमाहार्घ्यमानय ॥४९॥
49. sa dṛṣṭvā nṛpatiṃ prāpya samutthāya tvarānvitaḥ .
sammānya svāgatenaiva śiṣyamāhārghyamānaya.
49. saḥ dṛṣṭvā nṛpatim prāpya samutthāya tvarānvitaḥ
sammānya svāgatena eva śiṣyam āha arghyam ānaya
49. Having seen the king approach, he (the sage), quickly rising, honored him with a welcome and said to his disciple, "Bring the honorific offering (arghya)."
