मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-69, verse-53

राजोवाच ।
ब्राह्मणस्य गृहाद्भार्या केनाप्यपहृता मुने ।
अविज्ञातस्यरूपेण तामन्वेष्टुमिहागतः ॥५३॥
53. rājovāca .
brāhmaṇasya gṛhādbhāryā kenāpyapahṛtā mune .
avijñātasyarūpeṇa tāmanveṣṭumihāgataḥ.
53. rājaḥ uvāca brāhmaṇasya gṛhāt bhāryā kena api apahṛtā
mune avijñātasvarūpeṇa tām anveṣṭum iha āgataḥ
53. The king said, "O sage, a brahmin's wife was abducted from his house by someone whose true form (svarūpa) is unknown. I have come here to search for her."
